The 9 to 5 (actually 8:30 to whenever...) since 2004, commanding multiple hats over many years of client service with G Creative Advertising & Design, and still kicking.
Hired as a generalist designer, quickly moving into the role of art director less than a year later, my tenure with G Creative has presented many opportunities to provide a tall list of clients over-the-top services – be it design, directorial, performative, technical support, or otherwise. Interacting directly with the client contacts almost daily since the beginning – actually being the fourth member of the G Creative team – building connections with a personable, yet still professional associations, has helped strengthen an ability to craft better solutions for requests, while reinforcing client/servicer trust.
From answering phones and crafting design solutions to chasing escaped monkeys, being a 50s gas-pump jockey at a sock hop and a sideways hat-wearing goof terrorized by the blob (see vimeo), one learns to appreciate the takeaways from individual jobs as well as the clients they are connected to – including the unicorns and nightmares.
The following is a grossly abridged portrait of projects, of which the greater majority having been produced and released into the wild, for a select set of the clients in the trailing list.
