Teamwork makes the dream work, and that is nothing short of the focus in this corporate team building, whiteboard style, animated PSA aspiring to motivate employees to bring their “A-game” everyday.
CHALLENGES

Developing a cartoonish style reflective of reference materials in a purely vector format, which can be quickly produced to meet time constraints, but a handful of options – with and without color treatments – and clear communication of expectations made it simple to achieve approvals to proceed into the full buildout. With photo reference of team member uniforms and key property locations, quick rough sketches drawn in Photoshop, refined through approvals, then built in Illustrator kept each illustration process on track.
Some assets required more tooling to assist with the animation process. Building out arms, legs as well as other functional assets in different stages of movement allowed the animator to easily manipulate and bring characters to life.

With a well established work flow, and a great deal of clear communication, illustrations – articulations included – were wrapped nearly a full week ahead of schedule with the assistance of the in-house animation director; exceeding expectations, and garnering positive feedback from all levels of team members.
